What's new with LiveBall, post-click marketing and everything in between.

LiveBall Grading: 101

Respondent grading allows you to "rate" respondents based on the decisions they make as they move through your conversion path.

Before setting your grading, you will need to determine the grade all users will be assigned when they initially land on the path. The default is set to 'C', but you should use grading in whatever way it makes sense to you and your campaign. Now, hold that thought! Use your "entrance" grade to help you determine grading of respondent behaviors.

To set up grading...

  1. Click on the CTA button, text link or image to edit its actions
  2. Choose 'advanced rules' and name your rule. The naming is up to you, so choose something you will recognize.
  3. Select 'No conditions required
  4. Choose your action...'Grade as'
  5. Based on the action the user is taking when clicking on this CTA/button/etc you can assign the respondent a specific grade (A,B,C..), or just move them up or down a whole or half grade.
Ideally, the most qualified and engaged user should end up with an A+ when they convert and leave the path.

To summarize...
Grading aka "valuing" respondent behaviors is a key LiveBall feature that empowers you to know:

  • Qualitative engagement level of each respondent segment
  • Qualitative valuation of traffic sources based on the average grade of the respondents they deliver
  • Effectiveness of your post-click experience to convert your most highly graded respondents
