Recently we released an advanced rule that allows you to use respondent fields to calculate and compare numeric values. This will be extremely helpful for our clients that use LiveBall to create surveys, performance reviews/assessments, and quizzes to "score" respondent data.
"Save into database numeric" allows you to assign a numeric piece of data—or to add or subtract from an existing piece of data—into a respondent's record. This action takes two parameters, the name of the field and the value you want to assign, add, or subtract.
To assign a value, simply put that number in the box, like this:
Action: Save into database numeric myscore = 10
To add a value, put a + sign in front of the number, like this:
Action: Save into database numeric myscore = +10
To subtract a value, put a - sign in front of the number, like this:
Action: Save into database numeric myscore = -10
If you add or subtract to a field that hasn't yet been assigned a value, it will start off by assuming that the value is 0. The range of values is pretty large, essentially -1 billion to +1 billion.

Try setting up page rules on a results page that dynamically generates the user's score!
Condition: Respondent numeric data myscore equals 100
Action: Substitute content element headline with "You scored 10 out of 10! Perfect score!"
12-Point Letter Grading is also available in LiveBall. Letter grading is a great feature that allows you to "score" a user's level of engagement and can help qualify respondents as they move from click through conversion.
