Four new features for this export holiday season:
1. When configuring data exports in LiveBall (under the Integration menu), you can now select one of two "Export scope" choices:
• Converted respondents
• All respondents
2. When using the "Delimited file" export type (previously known as the "Comma-delimited file" export type), you can now configure what delimiter character is used between columns (e.g.,comma, tab, pipe, or tilde), whether or not columns will be enclosed in quotes, whether or not a header row will be included at the top of the file with column names, and what file extension will be used for the export (e.g., .csv, .txt, .dat, .tab).
3. For "Delimited file" exports, you now have the option to send the export file to an ftp or secure ftp server. Just provide the hostname, username, password, and optional path you wish to have the file uploaded to. (Note: we recommend only using this for scheduled exports, not "one-off" exports for respondents in advanced rules.)
4. Finally, for "Delimited file" exports, you also have the option to compress export files into ZIP files (a ".zip" extension will automatically be added to the file name). You can also optionally assign a password to the ZIP file so that only recipients who know the password can open it. Like FTP, this feature should usually only be set to "Yes" for scheduled exports.
